Energy and Utilities

  • Lead associate in power supply contract drafting and negotiation for hyperscale data center companies, including Meta’s AI data center in northeast Louisiana (2024-present).
  • Lead associate in multiple power purchase agreement drafting and negotiation matters for global automotive manufacturer (2024-present).
  • Lead associate in state utility commission proceedings supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects and hyperscale data center projects, including successfully obtaining Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity and participating in integrated resource planning settlements (2023-present).

Environmental 

  • Environmental counsel on over 30 middle-market M&A transactions, advising buyers and sellers on environmental liability allocation, diligence findings, and regulatory risks (2023-present).
  • Day-to-day OSHA and environmental regulatory counsel for major international paper and plastic packaging manufacturer, handling issues regarding air permitting, stormwater and wastewater discharge, and soil and groundwater contamination (2023-present).
  • Regulatory counsel to firm clients with air, water, soil, and waste concerns, issues with emerging contaminants like PFAS, and California-specific environmental issues like SB 54, SB 251/263, SB 343, and Proposition 65 (2023-present). 
  • Counsel for two clients in BKK Landfill CERCLA litigation in the Central District of California (2024-present). 

Commercial Litigation

  • Secured demurrer without leave to amend on five of six causes of action in commercial real estate dispute in Los Angeles County Superior Court, with the sixth claim settling for a nominal sum (2024-2026).
  • Managed discovery strategy and drafted discovery motions and responses in California warranty litigation for global automotive manufacturer (2022-2024). 
  • Drafted pre-trial motion papers in consumer class actions against global automotive manufacturers (2022-2024).
  • Obtained preliminary injunction on behalf of Plaintiff in trademark dispute between home energy rating system companies (2023).
