Aaron focuses his practice on litigation and has experience handling matters relating to government relations in addition to having served under three different North Carolina appellate judges.

He gained in-depth experience in the intersection of law and public policy while serving in both the United States Senate and the North Carolina House of Representatives. While at the Senate, Aaron handled wide-ranging issues including immigration, bipartisan gun safety legislation, election law reform, and the vetting of presidential nominees to federal agencies and the federal bench. At the North Carolina General Assembly, he assisted with managing the flow of legislation through the House Rules Committee and worked on draft language for bills sponsored by the chairman of the House Rules Committee.

Aaron also learned about the varied legal needs of the North Carolina business community through his work supporting the NC Chamber and a startup fast casual restaurant company. Aaron understands the importance of providing business owners sound advice and representation in everything from business formation to compliance, regulatory, and administrative law issues.

Prior to attending law school, he gained experience in the healthcare industry through his government relations and policy work at a Medicaid managed care organization based in Charlotte. Aaron also managed operations for the launch of a Raleigh-based small business in the commercial lighting industry. He brings his broad professional experience and training in divinity to bear on his legal practice, making him uniquely qualified to appreciate and relate to his clients’ needs.
