- Co-led trial team in defense of gynecologist in wrongful death claim involving a complication following an endometrial ablation procedure. After years of ongoing litigation and a two-week trial, a verdict was returned in favor of the defendant and finding no negligence.
- Co-led trial team in defense of gynecologist in wrongful death claim involving a complication following a hysterectomy. At the conclusion of trial, a verdict was returned by the jury in favor of the defendant and finding no negligence.
- Co-led trial team that obtained a defense verdict for a vascular surgeon in a medical malpractice case involving complications from placement of a stent for dialysis access.
- Led trial team in defense of two obstetricians and their practice against a medical malpractice claim brought on behalf of an infant who sustained a brachial plexus injury following a delivery complicated by shoulder dystocia in 2008. At the conclusion of the trial, a verdict was returned in favor of defendants, finding no negligence.
- Co-led a team that obtained a defense verdict for a local obstetrician in a protracted medical malpractice case involving a baby born with cerebral palsy, allegedly related to intrapartum birth asphyxia with resulting hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. The four-week trial, involving numerous medical experts in various specialties, and in which damages in excess of $10 million were sought, concluded after a two-hour jury deliberation resulted in a finding of no negligence as to all defendants.
- Co-led trial team in defense of an obstetrician and his clinic against a medical malpractice claim brought on behalf of an infant born with cerebral palsy following a protracted labor. Plaintiffs’ counsel made a plea for unspecified damages in excess of $7 million. Following a six-week jury trial, a verdict was returned in favor of defendants.
