University of South Carolina Elects Thad Westbrook as Board of Trustees Vice Chair
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Board of Trustees has elected Columbia partner Thad Westbrook as its new vice chair. Westbrook represents the 11th judicial circuit and has been a board member since his election by the state Legislature in 2010. He also serves as chair of the Board’s Governance Committee.
Westbrook practices in the areas of business and complex litigation, consumer finance litigation, class action defense, administrative law, and campaign and election law issues. He has been recognized for his banking and finance litigation along with his commercial litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®.
