Two Partners Join Nelson Mullins in Boston and Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Two new partners have joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP this month, adding heft to the Firm’s capabilities in several practice areas including class action, commercial litigation and business torts, employment, information security, privacy, and technology.

“We are pleased to welcome these standout lawyers to Nelson Mullins,” said J. Mark Jones, who chairs the Firm’s litigation group. “ We believe they will enhance our ability to guide our clients and meet their sophisticated needs across a broad range of areas.”

They are:

  • Matthew J. Iverson joins the Boston office. With more than 20 years of experience, Iverson focuses his practice on products liability, class action defense, employment law, banking and securities, and independent contractor misclassification defense. He comes from DLA Piper.
  • John J. Pringle joins the Columbia office. He has a wide range of experience in his legal practice. He has counseled clients in privacy, information security, and information governance;  administrative and regulatory law, including public utilities and other regulatory compliance matters and disputes; and appellate advocacy. Pringle has also counseled clients in zoning and land-use matters. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He comes from Adams and Reese.
