Travis Bustamante Appointed to The Sedona Conference Working Group Committee
Charlotte partner Travis Bustamante has been appointed to the Steering Committee for Working Group 1 (WG1) of The Sedona Conference. The mission of Working Group 1 is to develop principles, guidance, and best practice recommendations for information governance and electronic discovery in the context of litigation, dispute resolution and investigations. His three-year term will begin on Jan. 1, 2026.
Bustamante has been a member of WG1 since 2019 and has contributed extensively to its work. Bustamante has served as both a dialogue leader at multiple meetings and on brainstorming and drafting teams including the commentary on privilege logs.
The Sedona Conference is a nonpartisan, nonprofit research and educational institute focused on the advanced study of law and policy in areas including antitrust, complex litigation, intellectual property, and data security and privacy.
