Scott Moïse Elected to South Carolina Bar Board of Governors

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP Charleston partner Elizabeth Scott Moïse has been elected to the South Carolina Bar Board of Governors. Moïse will serve a three-year term representing the fourth judicial region which covers the lower half of the state stretching from Aiken and Calhoun counties to the coast of Charleston and Beaufort counties.

Moïse also currently serves as co-chair of the Bar's Judicial Qualifications committee and has held that seat since 2015. In addition to the South Carolina Bar, she is also a former executive committee member (2018–2019) and former president (2017–2019) of the Charleston County Bar Association. She has also authored "The Scrivener," a legal writing column in the South Carolina Lawyer magazine, since 2002. Moïse practices in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith, products liability defense, and appellate law.
