On June 30, 2023, Monroe Capital LLC, a premier boutique middle market asset manager, completed its acquisition of Horizon Technology Finance Management LLC, the investment adviser to Horizon Technology Finance Corporation (NASDAQ: HRZN), a leading specialty finance company that provides capital in the form of secured loans to venture capital backed companies in the technology, life science, healthcare information and services, and sustainability industries. Horizon Technology Finance Corporation's board of directors unanimously approved a new investment advisory agreement with the investment adviser, which was subsequently approved by its stockholders.

Horizon Technology Finance Corporation is an externally managed, closed-end, non-diversified management investment company that has elected to be regulated as a business development company, or BDC, under the Investment Company Act of 1940.
