Nelson Mullins represented AXS Energia S.A. (AXS Energia) in a U.S. cross-border long-term financing deal to support 14 solar energy projects in Brazil. The $31.3 million transaction was obtained with lender CIFI Group and the deal also included a U.S. collateral package.

AXS Energia specializes in developing solar distributed generation projects in Brazil and leasing them to customers to support self-generation from clean energy sources. The company has become an energy-tech firm making renewable energy digitally accessible to tens of thousands of customers throughout Brazil.

In addition to supporting a cleaner energy matrix in Brazil, the 14 solar distributed energy projects are expected to have a positive economic impact in the communities involved, generating jobs and enhancing the quality of life.
