Matthew Zischke Elected Chairman of the Employee Benefits Law Section of the Georgia Bar

Atlanta partner Matthew Zischke has been elected chairman of the Employee Benefits Law Section’s Employee Benefits Committee of the State Bar of Georgia. His term will run through June 2027.

Zischke has been an active member of the State Bar of Georgia for six years and most recently served as vice chairman of the committee. In his new role as chairman, he will help guide the committee’s ongoing efforts to advance knowledge and understanding of the laws governing employer-sponsored benefit plans.

The Employee Benefits Law Section supports practitioners through high-quality legal education programs covering executive compensation, retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, and ERISA litigation. The section also serves as a key liaison with the U.S. Department of Labor, the Internal Revenue Service, and the broader employee benefits bar, while encouraging collaboration and collegiality within this specialized practice area.
