The Florida Association for Women Lawyers Miami-Dade Chapter (MDFAWL) has elected associate Kayla Quintana to its Board of Directors from 2022 to 2023, beginning June 1.
Quintana will help guide the Board's objectives as a voluntary bar association dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession, expanding leadership opportunities available to its members, and advocating in support of women’s rights. She has been a member of MDFAWL since 2019 and recently served as Co-Chair of its Community Outreach Committee. Quintana is also a member of the Miami-Dade Bar Association and Cuban American Bar Association.
In her practice, Quintana focuses on civil and complex commercial litigation, products liability, and federal Title IX compliance. She has extensive trial experience as well as extensive experience with motion practices and depositions. She has represented clients in all stages of litigation from pre-litigation, to discovery, to trial.
