Jake Carroll Co-Authors 2026 Georgia Construction Law Handbook
Atlanta partner Jake Carroll co-authored the 2026 edition of the Georgia Construction Law Handbook, published May 14, 2026, by Daily Report Books, an ALM publication. The publication marks Carroll’s sixth consecutive year serving as co-author of the leading Georgia-focused treatise on construction law.
Originally launched by longtime construction attorney T. Bart Gary in 2012, the Georgia Construction Law Handbook is widely used by lawyers, judges, contractors, and industry professionals as a practical resource addressing recurring issues in Georgia construction disputes and transactions. The 2026 edition includes an updated analysis of recent statutory developments and significant state and federal court decisions impacting the construction industry.
In this year’s preface, Carroll noted the continuing evolution of construction law in Georgia and reaffirmed the Handbook’s purpose as a practical resource for the bench and bar. He also recognized several Nelson Mullins attorneys who assisted with the 2026 revisions, specifically thanking Carroll Hart, Patrick Hagen, and Seth Elmore for their research, review, and collaboration on this year’s edition.
Carroll focuses his practice on construction, manufacturing, and real estate matters, representing clients in complex commercial disputes, contract negotiations, and strategic risk management matters throughout the industry. His continued work on the Georgia Construction Law Handbook reflects both his commitment to the profession and his active involvement in shaping and analyzing developments in Georgia construction law.
