As Aviation Industry Rebounds, Nelson Mullins Closes $155M Deal For Flight Simulation Company

Daily Business Review

A Fort Lauderdale company that operates flight simulators used by airline pilots has secured $155 million in financing, as the aviation industry rebounds amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough represented Avenger Flight Group, securing a senior financing facility for the company alongside three investment management firms. Its Miami partners John F. Haley and Carlos Loumiet and associates Franco Furmanski and Megan Kilissanly handled the deal.

It was a complex multi-jurisdiction transaction on "an extremely tight timeframe," according to Haley.
