Women of Bitcoin Summit
As Bitcoin moves from the fringe to the financial mainstream- amid ETF approvals, intensifying global regulatory scrutiny, and increasing state-level energy policy debates- clarity matters. Dallas partner Paula Pendley will moderate and speak on a featured panel at the two-day Women of Bitcoin Summit on March 5, 2026, addressing one of the most pressing questions facing the industry: What are the rules and what is actually changing?
Her session, “Bitcoin + The Rules (Policy, Regulation, and What’s Actually Happening),” will provide a practical, grounded discussion of how laws and regulatory developments affect Bitcoin users, builders, and infrastructure operators. Pendley will be joined by:
- Joana Cotar, former Member of the German Parliament and Bitcoin advocate
- Hailey Lennon, digital asset attorney and regulatory strategist
- Lauren Rodriguez, policy commentator and industry educator
Together, the panel will cut through headlines and fear-based narratives to address:
- How regulation actually works in the U.S. and abroad
- What has materially changed in the past year
- Where enforcement risk is real- and where it is overstated
- What individuals should understand about custody, taxation, and compliance
- What companies in mining, AI data infrastructure, and digital asset services must track now
Pendley brings a unique vantage point to the discussion. She represents Bitcoin mining and data center operators in high-stakes nuisance and regulatory litigation, advising clients at the intersection of energy markets, environmental policy, and emerging technology. Her experience managing complex trials and regulatory disputes nationwide allows her to translate policy shifts into practical risk assessments for businesses operating in rapidly evolving environments.
“Rules affect Bitcoin whether you follow politics or not,” Pendley notes. “The goal is not to create alarm- it’s to create understanding. Clear information reduces unnecessary fear and allows both individuals and businesses to operate with confidence.”
The Women of Bitcoin Summit is a free, two-day virtual gathering designed to educate and connect women worldwide- whether they are new to Bitcoin or already active in the space. Hosted by Natalie Brunell, the summit features global leaders, educators, and policy voices engaging in thoughtful, solutions-oriented conversations about the future of money.
Pendley’s panel will take place on March 5 from 2:30–3:15 p.m. ET. Registration is free and open to the public.
Starts: Wednesday, March 4, 2026
Ends: Thursday, March 5, 2026
