Alongside his co-panelists, Kristen Drake with PolicyFind, Shaun McKernan with Allianz Reinsurance America, Inc., and David A. Warren with Resolute Management Inc., Schroll will present, “Insurance and Risk Management.” The group will explore key issues in ongoing talc litigation, including the evolving challenges of defending and deposing corporate representatives, assessing company exposure and insurance risk, and addressing late-exposure claims and their impact on historical policies. Panelists will also draw from experience in their various backgrounds to discuss strategies for managing the growing influx of talc cases, establishing the existence of responsive coverage, and recovering insurance assets for entities facing talc-related liabilities. Schroll maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on products liability litigation, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. He currently serves as national coordinating counsel to a consumer products company for talc-related litigation. He coordinates litigation in complex matters and is an integral member of trial teams, representing manufacturers in state and federal courts throughout the country.
