Nashville partners Jason Epstein and Kelly Frey will provide insight on the legal aspects of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency during a panel discussion at Binder Dijker Otte’s (BDO) 2018 Nashville Mid-Year Accounting and Tax Update on Monday, May 14.
Epstein is co-head of the Firm’s Technology and Procurement Industry Group. Epstein provides legal services to buyers and sellers of technology both domestically and internationally in various industries, from FinTech and HealthIT to auto and manufacturing. He has experience in business and technology negotiations from both the vendor and buyer perspectives.
Frey, who will moderate the panel, assists clients in corporate acquisitions/divestitures, corporation transactions, and corporate compliance. He represents companies in various information technology and intellectual property transactions. He helps with corporate governance matters and assists companies in creating sustainable, cost-effective, and defensible internal controls to mitigate compliance risks. Frey also represents several indie film production and media companies and has served as executive producer for several feature films.
