Office and retail leases are among the most common forms of commercial lease transactions and both require a broad knowledge of basic lease law. Boston partner Susan Davis will speak at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education's "Negotiating & Drafting Office & Retail Leases" webinar on May 19.
Davis and fellow panelists will examine and compare office and retail leasing transactions, and identify their key similarities, as well as important differences. They will also analyze how retail leasing has been affected by the internet and e-commerce and how office leasing has been influenced by millennials in the workforce.
Davis is returning faculty for this CLE, hosted on a recurring basis by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education. She focuses her practice in commercial real estate law, representing owners and investors in complex real estate transactions involving commercial real estate properties. A core of Davis' practice is representing landlords and tenants in commercial real estate leasing matters, including the leasing of office, retail, and industrial facilities.
