Nelson Mullins attorney Franco Furmanski recently spoke to the Canada-Florida Chamber of Commerce's Trade mission to South Florida to discuss a wide array of legal issues that Canadian companies should consider when entering the United States market. Furmanski’s presentation covered basic corporate considerations such as corporate formation and more detailed subjects such as intellectual property formation, employment issues, and exit strategies, including IPOs and SPACs.
Furmanski has been with Nelson Mullins since 2018 and is based in the firm's Miami office. He assists both international and domestic clients in connection with a wide range of transactions, primarily merger and acquisition and financing transactions, including project finance, syndicated loans, and debt and securities offerings. He also advises clients in connection with their strategic investment opportunities, corporate restructurings, and general commercial matters, such as licensing, distribution, employment, and real estate leasing.
