False Claims Act Mock Trial Institute 2026
Hosted by: American Bar Association
Fort Lauderdale partner Gabe Imperato will be moderating a panel presenting a roundtable discussion at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) False Claims Act Mock Trial Institute 2026 in New Orleans on January 14.
Alongside his co-panelists, Jenelle Beavers with Alvarez and Marsal, Joy Clairmont with Berger Montague, Suann Ingle with Suann Ingle Associates LLC, and Jennifer Cuculich with Jury Connect, Imperato will participate in the “Evidence Management and Trial Presentation Challenges Round Table.” The group will examine high document volumes in modern litigation that present significant challenges in discovery, evidentiary management, and trial presentation. This panel will dissect legally sound strategies for identifying key documents, managing discovery efficiently, ensuring admissibility, and presenting evidence persuasively at trial, including the use of strategic visuals in qui tam and other complex matters. Drawing on the experience of seasoned trial attorneys and litigation and jury consultants, the program will offer practical guidance and a mock presentation based on the Institute’s fact pattern.
Imperato serves as the managing partner for the Fort Lauderdale office and focuses his practice on representing individuals and organizations accused of healthcare fraud, and assisting and advising healthcare organizations on corporate governance and compliance matters.
The ABA’s False Claims Act Mock Trial Institute will provide attendees with a unique False Claims Act mock trial experience, rare insight into jury decision-making, practical and strategic learning, and much more
