The 12th Annual Sedona Conference Institute Program on e-discovery was held on March 1-2 at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. The theme for the conference was “Applying E-Discovery Skills and Technologies to All Areas of the Law.” Partner Heyward Bonyata and of counsel Natalie Carter attended on behalf of Nelson Mullins Encompass. The Sedona Conference Institute Working Group Series was established to pursue in-depth study of tipping point issues in the areas of antitrust law, complex litigation, and intellectual property rights, with the goal of producing high-quality, non-partisan commentary and guidance of immediate, practical benefit to the bench and bar.
On March 2, Partner John Martin, partner Lucie Cohen, and Discovery Operations Manager Trena Patton led a CLE titled “Empowering Advocacy Through Analytics” hosted at Tractor Supply Company’s headquarters. Highlights included how analytics can enhance your advocacy, shaping your e-discovery scope, analytics strategies that give you the advantage, and enterprise-wide implementation of analytics.
