Lauren Nations, of counsel in the Firm's Atlanta office, and Charlotte associate Ariel Harris gave a webinar presentation on "Effective Policies and Employee Handbooks" to the North Carolina Medical Society on March 21 at 11:30 a.m. The presentation covered policies that should be included in the standard medical employer's handbook and aspects of policies that might affect those, including recent developments in the law. 

Nations and Harris are both part of the Firm's Labor and Employment practice. As a former HR professional and legal department intern, Nations has a nuanced perspective on the challenges faced by clients regarding employment and benefits. Harris practices litigation in addition to her labor and employment practice, and has represented companies before the North Carolina Business Court and state and federal courts.
