Fort Lauderdale partner Christina Lehm and Miami partners George Mahfood and Dan Newman will present, “Download the Latest Update on Litigation Trends in Florida,” at the video game-themed Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) South Florida's 13th Annual Conference in Hollywood, Florida on Sept. 29, 2023.
The trio of seasoned attorneys will provide updates on current litigation trends in Florida, the state’s recent tort reform and its effects, upcoming litigation trends in artificial intelligence, etc.
Lehm has over 25 years of combined business and legal experience along with a multicultural background and global perspective. She is a native of Denmark and advises her U.S. and international clients in business disputes and represents them through all stages of litigation in state and federal courts and in arbitration.
Mahfood has 45 years of trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts, for civil and criminal matters involving securities, intellectual property, antitrust, insurance, contracts, real estate, products liability, class actions, criminal defense, and environmental matters.
Newman began his career with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement. He is an experienced litigator of complex commercial and securities matters in federal and state courts and before various arbitration forums.
Serving in-house counsel in the Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade areas, ACC South Florida has more than 550 members. Hosting community service projects, social events, and CLE presentations, the organization gives members an opportunity to give back to their community, network, and further their education.
