2026 Rocky Mountain Bankruptcy Conference
Hosted by: American Bankruptcy Institute
Adam Herring, a partner in Nelson Mullins’ Atlanta office, will be speaking at the American Bankruptcy Institute's 2026 Rocky Mountain Bankruptcy Conference in Vail, Colorado taking place Wednesday, June 3 through Friday, June 5.
Herring will host "Ethics: Taking on the Case – I’m (Dis)Interested" on Friday, June 5 at 11:00 a.m. MDT alongside The Honorable Elizabeth L. Gunn of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia, The Honorable Noah G. Hillen of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Idaho, and Brian M. Rothschild of Parsons Behle & Latimer. This panel will explore ethical issues from evaluating conflicts, mandatory and recommended disclosures, and what it really means to be disinterested when taking on an engagement. The conference offers additional sessions on hot insolvency topics and current economic trends.
Herring is a seasoned bankruptcy attorney who guides lenders and businesses through distressed‑debt matters, including out‑of‑court workouts, Chapter 11 cases, and related litigation. His prior senior leadership role at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Executive Office for U.S. Trustees gives him unique insight into government enforcement and complex Chapter 11 challenges, strengthening his ability to anticipate and resolve issues for clients across multiple industries.
