At the 15th annual National Asbestos Litigation Conference on Sept. 12–13, Nelson Mullins partner Sanjay Ghosh will be serving as a co-panelist and speaker during a session titled "Corporate Representatives." The conference is being held in Charleston, South Carolina, at the Charleston Place Hotel and begins with a golf outing on Monday, Sept. 11 — with the formal conference beginning Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 7:45 a.m.
Ghosh has served as trial counsel in complex cases for pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer products, and plastic manufacturers, as well as various retailers, in federal and state court venues across the country, and also serves as national discovery counsel for an international cosmetics manufacturer in its talc litigation. His practice focuses on litigation, premises liability, and products liability cases involving consumer, mechanical, pharmaceutical, and medical device products. He largely works in the manufacturing and life sciences, pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
The session that Ghosh will speak during will be on Sept. 13 from 3:45-4:45 p.m. and is focused around the impact of recent rulings that could limit testimony of corporate representatives to their, "personal knowledge," and more.
