Boston partner Matthew Lindenbaum and Charlotte partner Rob Lindholm recently joined Denver partner and chair of the FinTech and Regulation Practice Richard Levin for, “FinTech, SEC, and OFAC Investigations,” a presentation in the FinTech University series.
Lindenbaum and Lindholm brought their extensive white-collar background to the discussion when they led the presentation that analyzed regulatory authority regarding the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), trending subject matters within these two institutions, relevant laws and regulations, recent investigations and their significance, and much more. Levin examined the fintech-based parallels within the discussion followed by a question and answer session to conclude.
Lindenbaum represents companies in high-stakes litigation with an emphasis on class action defense in the financial services and automotive industries, and the growing FinTech industry.
Lindholm focuses his practice on government investigations and white-collar defense, high-stakes business litigation and class action defense, and e-discovery and litigation readiness.
Levin is chair of the FinTech and Regulation Practice and was one of the first lawyers to focus on the regulation of blockchain and digital assets. He is considered a thought leader in the FinTech space.
