- Worked in the Criminal Appeals department as an Assistant Attorney General for the South Carolina Attorney General's Office, handling post-conviction relief and state appellate matters. Wrote motions, orders, briefs, and substantive memoranda on matters relating to criminal law. Performed research, took depositions, examined witnesses, and made arguments in both the district and state appellate courts. Worked closely with the judiciary, witnesses, and opposing counsel
