Experience

  • Performed reviews for large-scale e-discovery matters and acted as a team lead on both responsiveness and privilege reviews
  • Worked in the Criminal Appeals department as an Assistant Attorney General for the South Carolina Attorney General's Office, handling post-conviction relief and state appellate matters. Wrote motions, orders, briefs, and substantive memoranda on matters relating to criminal law. Performed research, took depositions, examined witnesses, and made arguments in both the district and state appellate courts. Worked closely with the judiciary, witnesses, and opposing counsel
  • Worked as a law clerk for a South Carolina law firm coordinating with courts, counsel, debtors, and creditors regarding bankruptcies, foreclosures, and loss mitigation opportunities. Attended hearings, performed legal research, and drafted memoranda based on substantive statutory and case law
