Experience

  • Has represented various tax–exempt hospitals as an outside general counsel.
  • Significant experience in structuring transactions involving tax–exempt and public hospitals, including joint ventures between tax–exempt and for–profit healthcare providers, conversions, joint operating companies, member substitutions and public/private affiliations.
  • Experience in tax matters related to tax–exempt organizations.
  • Experience in negotiating and drafting employment agreements, management agreements, joint ventures, and other transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, and joint ventures of various business interests.
