  • Served as lead counsel for the North Carolina Utilities Commission Public Staff in Duke Energy’s multi-year rate plan and performance based ratemaking proceedings
  • Acted as lead counsel on all matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission concerning the North Carolina Utilities Commission Public Staff, including Transmission and Interconnection rulemaking reform and affected system cost allocation
  • Served as lead counsel for all EV matters before the North Carolina Utilities Commission, including public charging station pilots, residential managed charging pilots, and residential electric vehicle supply equipment programs
  • Represented the North Carolina Utilities Commission Public Staff before the North Carolina Court of Appeals in matters relating to generator interconnection transmission upgrades and residential rooftop net metering
  • Argued on behalf of the North Carolina Utilities Commission Public Staff before the Supreme Court of North Carolina in a matter regarding third-party sales of electricity  
  • Acted as lead counsel for North Carolina Utilities Commission Public Staff in dockets involving the competitive procurement of solar resources and cost recovery
  • Represented the North Carolina Utilities Commission Public Staff as an amicus curiae before the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals on a generator interconnection cost allocation matter
  • Served as lead counsel North Carolina Utilities Commission Public Staff in public utilities’ Integrated Resource Planning proceedings
  • Acted as lead counsel for the North Carolina Utilities Commission Public Staff in several avoided cost proceedings
