She regularly advises various types of tax-exempt organizations to obtain tax exemptions under Section 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(6), or other provisions of the tax code and assists tax-exempt organizations with operational compliance issues.  Watford provides tax-exempt organizations with guidance regarding bylaws and corporate governance, conflict of interest policies, and Board involvement in compliance and quality-related issues. She also advises clients regarding tax matters related to conservation easements.
