Representative Experience

  • Obtained summary judgment in personal injury case against the United States alleging negligence related to roads in the Allegheny National Forest.
  • Prevailed on summary judgment in employment discrimination case against the Secretary of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for retaliation in violation of Title VII.
  • Obtained successful defense verdict on behalf of mortgage servicer following a jury trial in Santa Barbara, in which the plaintiff asserted claims related to a forbearance agreement. 
  • Defended mortgage servicer in non-jury trial in state court in Los Angeles, California for alleged torts and violations of consumer protection laws. 
  • Represented coatings manufacturer in various matters involving products liability and nuisance claims in multiple state and federal courts.
  • Defended promotional product business and its officers in litigation in New York against claims for unauthorized access to computer systems, and prosecuted related cases asserting claims for tortious interference, trade secrets, and breach of contract. 
  • Represented automobile dealer group in several cases, including a class action, alleging consumer claims related to auto financing.
