Matt defends corporations in product liability and consumer warranty litigation with a focus on determining clients’ strategies for responding to complex, high-volume written discovery. He has led teams of discovery attorneys in major matters for clients in the consumer goods, aerospace, financial, pharmaceutical, defense, and entertainment industries. Matt has appeared before New York and California courts and has experience bringing and defending lawsuits related to breach of contract, class actions, securities fraud, insurance coverage disputes, trade secret theft, and construction matters. He has also represented and counseled individual clients in litigation and transactional matters and worked to efficiently resolve disputes prior to the initiation of litigation. Prior to becoming an attorney, Matt worked as a news reporter and editor covering New York and the energy industry.
