Experience

  • Has represented numerous developers in the acquisition, financing (construction and term loan), development, stabilization and disposition of their multifamily and mixed-use developments throughout the United States.
  • Has represented several clients in the acquisition and development of property held pursuant to long-term ground leases, including, but not limited to, the sampling below:
    • Assisting developer in the acquisition of property via a long-term ground lease from the State of Florida and all aspects of the development of an affordable senior housing project, which included closing on $36 million in bond, debt and equity financing;
    • Representing a multifamily developer in the acquisition, financing and re-development of property pursuant to a long-term ground lease from a public company; and
    • Assisting a joint venture in the acquisition of a long-term ground leasehold interest in a portfolio transaction consisting of seven multi-tenant office buildings held by an independent special district of Florida organized under chapter 159, Florida Statues.
  • Assists clients in developing and negotiating commercial leases, property management, hotel franchise and vendor agreements.
