Lashania White

Lashania advises financial services clients on regulatory and compliance matters affecting consumer lending, payments, alternative lending, and other non-bank financial services activities. Her clients include banks, payments companies, fintechs, and state-licensed lenders navigating complex federal and state regulatory requirements.

Lashania counsels clients on a broad range of issues, including bank-fintech partnerships, card programs, payment processing, money... transmission, state licensing frameworks, lending structures, and servicing relationships. She works closely with clients to develop practical compliance strategies that support innovation while addressing regulatory expectations.

Her practice includes advising on key consumer financial laws and regulations, such as the Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Electronic Funds Transfer Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and UDAAP requirements. She also assists clients in interactions with state and federal regulators and helps them navigate evolving regulatory and enforcement developments.
