Kurt maintains a robust national trial practice defending high-exposure product liability cases in Texas and beyond. He routinely works with international and U.S. in-house decision makers, corporate representatives, and engineers to develop comprehensive litigation and case management approaches that result in the most favorable outcome possible for his clients. Kurt has tried more than 100 cases in state and federal courts around the country in matters ranging from allegations of restraint system defects to forklift and electrical equipment.  Kurt has defended corporations, manufacturers, and distributors of automotive, trucking, agriculture, and other components in high-stakes product liability matters, many of which have involved catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths. Kurt has tried cases for many of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers involving crashworthiness, seatbelt and airbag claims, alleged seatback failures, and rollover and fire issues.
