Kurt focuses his practice on the representation of large institutional lenders, investment banks, private equity funds and other real estate lending companies in the origination, refinancing, securitization and modification of mortgage and mezzanine loans. He has also served lending institutions in connection with a wide variety of transactions including the purchase and sale of notes, mortgage and mezzanine loans, and participation interests.

Kurt has additional experience in other areas of commercial real estate, including the representation of clients in the acquisition and disposition of office buildings, storage facilities, hotels and mixed-use development projects, the negotiation of joint venture agreements and the representation of both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters.
