  • Practice includes local, state and federal tax issues, the preparation of wills and trusts, and matters of probate
  • Concentrates a significant portion of his practice in matters of property tax (including fee–in–lieu of property tax), sales tax, state income tax and economic and tax incentives for new and existing businesses
  • Extensive state & local tax litigation experience

Previous Professional Experience

  • Prior to joining Nelson Mullins Mr. von Lehe was in practice with another leading South Carolina firm
  • In–house counsel with the Rulings Division of the Internal Revenue Service (1970–1971)
  • CPA at C.C. McGregor, CPAs (1978–1980)
  • Assistant Attorney General for the State of South Carolina, where he served as counsel to the South Carolina Tax Commission (1971–1978)
