Construction and Design Defects
- Defended, in size and value, some of the largest construction defect claims in Florida, including several over $25 million
- Represented a hospital against its contractor and architect in a lawsuit over design and construction errors related to the construction of a fire–rated wall
- Defended a civil engineer’s site work and roadway design of an exclusive homeowner’s community, resulting in a complete dismissal of the claim
- Prosecuted a school board’s claims against its architect related to various design errors
- Prosecuted claims related to the design of a stormwater pump station infrastructure
- Routinely defends developers and contractors on large, multi–family construction defect claims, including a $10 million construction defect and design claim arising out of the construction of a high–rise hotel and a $30 million construction defect claim arising out of the construction of a multi–family housing development
- Defended national contractor from alleged $30 million of defects relating to two residential condominium towers
Delay and Project Impact Claims
- Prosecuted construction delay claim against the Department of the Army in front of the ASBCA related to a hotel at Walt Disney World
- Prosecution of multiple project impact and disruption claims on behalf of site work and drilling contractors against local municipalities
- Represented the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, successfully abating a federal court claim exceeding $12 million brought against the agency.
