Jenna graduated in the top 3% of her class from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law where she was a member of the Mercer University Law Review and the Mercer Law Mentorship Program. Immediately following law school, Jenna served as a law clerk to the Honorable James E. Graham, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Jenna worked as a commercial real estate and finance associate in the Atlanta office of a national law firm.

Representative Transactions

  • Represented an Atlanta-based real estate investment, management, and development company in connection with acquisition of a $1.3 billion real estate portfolio consisting of 97 retail, office, and industrial properties across 19 states, from California to Maine and in connection with a $800 million CMBS loan, two mezzanine loans totaling $274 million, a preferred equity tranche of approximately $180 million, and a complex joint venture. 
  • Represented an Atlanta-based real estate investment, management, and development company in connection with a $925 million mortgage loan and an $84 million mezzanine loan to refinance the existing loans; secured by 69 office, bank, retail and industrial properties located in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin. 
  • Represented developer and Atlanta-based real estate investment, management, and development company in the acquisition of property for the development of a 1,150 acre, Class A industrial park consisting of 7.2 million square feet and an investment of $400 million to $500 million.  
  • Represented private real estate investment company in the acquisition of six office buildings containing approximately 303,000 square feet for $46.1 million and in connection with the $33.6 million loan for the property. 
  • Represented private real estate investment company in connection with the sale of a four-building office park comprising 290,924 square feet for $32 million. 
  • Represented private real estate investment company in connection with the acquisition of an office park, including four buildings and two parking decks in Florida for $53 million.  
  • Represented life insurance company in connection with a $108 million loan, with a Note A and Note B structure, to finance the acquisition of an office building located in Georgia.  
  • Represented life insurance company in a transaction consisting of a $47 million loan secured by 29 parcels of real estate located in five counties within Illinois and involving 10 borrowers.  
  • Represented life insurance company in connection with a $43.5 million loan secured by a residential and retail building in Georgia.
  • Represented national commercial lender in a $49 million senior secured loan in connection with the recapitalization of the borrower, secured by 36 properties located in Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts and New York.  
  • Represented life insurance company in a transaction consisting of a commercial mortgage bridge loan in the maximum principal amount of up to $20.5 million, secured by a multi-family apartment complex located in California.
  • Represented national lender in $28.5 million term loan and $9 million development loan facilities secured by 30 convenience and gas stations in Ohio.
  • Represented CMBS table lender in connection with: (i) a $12 million loan secured by a hotel located in South Carolina; and (ii) a $15.2 million loan secured by a hotel in Texas.
  • Represented national lender in connection with a $25 million senior secured loan in connection with the recapitalization of the borrower, secured by 27 properties in Colorado.
  • Represented an Atlanta-based real estate investment, management, and development company as borrower in connection with obtaining an approximately $26.9 million loan for the construction of two class-A industrial buildings totaling 574,000 square feet. 
  • Represented real estate investment firm in connection with a $26.7 million loan for the construction of a mixed-use development with approximately 55,960 square feet of retail space.
