Crystal serves as Compliance Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at Nelson Mullins, where she advises on a broad range of internal policy and risk management matters. In this role, she supports the firm’s compliance infrastructure, ensures adherence to professional responsibility standards, and collaborates with firm leadership on the development and implementation of policies governing legal, operational, and reputational risk.  

Prior to joining the General Counsel’s Office, Crystal spent two decades as a litigator, representing clients in a range of areas, including product liability, complex commercial disputes, consumer financial services, aviation law, and other complex civil litigation. Her practice included high-stakes matters in federal and state courts nationwide. 

Crystal brings a collaborative approach and a deep understanding of both litigation strategy and regulatory compliance to help the firm navigate today’s evolving legal landscape.
