Consumer Protection / Class Actions

  • Represented plaintiffs in a consumer class action involving the alleged wrongful conversion of funds associated with gift card scams, resulting in a multimillion-dollar settlement.
  • Represented plaintiffs in a privacy class action alleging that voice activated devices recorded and transmitted private communications without user consent, leading to a substantial settlement.
  • Represented consumers in multidistrict litigation involving defective medical devices, contributing to a partial settlement exceeding one billion dollars.

Business Litigation

  • Defended a long‑term commercial lessee in a multimillion‑dollar property damage dispute brought by a commercial property owner; resolved favorably before trial.
  • Represented a commercial property owner in ongoing multiparty litigation involving the sale of property within a redevelopment district, including allegations of fraud, breach of contract, and related claims.
  • Represented developers and property owners in disputes with local municipalities involving redevelopment and coastal development issues.

Stockholder / Fiduciary Duty Litigation

  • Represented stockholders in a derivative action involving allegations of anticompetitive conduct across multiple business lines, resulting in a settlement of several hundred million dollars. 
  • Represented stockholders in litigation arising from a major corporate acquisition, including allegations that the acquiring company overpaid for a financially distressed target; responsibilities included assisting with key depositions and expert development.
  • Represented stockholders in litigation involving alleged breaches of fiduciary duty by directors of a special purpose acquisition company, resulting in significant investor losses.
