LOS ANGELES -- Benchmark Litigation has named Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP partners Ryan E. Cosgrove, Jahmy Graham and Barry J. Koopmann to its 2022 40 & Under Hot List.
Both Cosgrove and Graham were chosen for inclusion in commercial and product liability in the West region. Koopman was selected for product liability and recall in the Midwest region.
Cosgrove is a partner in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. He handles product and premises liability, transportation, and general commercial litigation matters, including the defense of catastrophic injury claims involving manufacturers and suppliers of consumer products and automobiles. He is involved in all phases of complex litigation from initial filings through trial in state and federal courts. He is also experienced in appellate practice.
Graham is a partner in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. He represents clients in cases that involve many industries and issues, including the automotive industry, healthcare, retail, technology, contract, warranty, tort, securities, false advertising, and product liability claims.
Koopmann is a partner in the Firm’s Minneapolis office. He is a trial lawyer who defends product manufacturers in high-stakes litigation nationwide. He has served as national coordinating counsel in high-profile medical device trials and appeals. Koopmann serves on the national expert team in one of the largest multidistrict litigations in history, identifying and developing experts, preparing experts for depositions and trials, and defending and taking expert depositions.
