WASHINGTON, D.C. — Washington Office Managing Principal and Federal and State Policy Team Leader Chris Cushing has been named to the Top Lobbyists 2022 list by The Hill, an American newspaper and digital media company based in Washington, D.C. that focuses on politics, policy, business, and international relations.

This list honors the corporate lobbyists, government relations professionals, association leaders, and grassroots activists who leveraged their expertise and connections to "make a difference in the nation’s capital this year," according to the news organization. Cushing has been named among the best lobbyists in Washington and a leading "hired gun" advocate for his clients. He has been named to the list for the last three years.

Lobbyists helped shape an immense amount of legislation across 2022, including the Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act and other bipartisan legislation, according to the report from The Hill. 

Cushing is the first non-lawyer in the firm’s 125-year history to chair a team and lead a firm office. He has 35 years of experience in government, politics, and corporate public policy issues. Cushing is an experienced political advisor and strategist, having served in leadership positions on winning presidential campaigns on three continents.
