Three Students Awarded 2025 Dick Riley Scholarship

Nelson Mullins selected three students for this year’s Dick Riley Scholarship, which recognizes exceptional law students who demonstrate a commitment to advancing engagement and inclusion throughout the legal profession. It’s the tenth year Nelson Mullins has offered the scholarship program, which is named after Nelson Mullins partner Dick Riley, former Governor of South Carolina and Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.

The scholarship program is open to second year law students and reflects the firm’s deep commitment to those who uphold the value of an inclusive and engaging culture and the role of law in advancing social justice through various programs including the Nelson Mullins Pro Bono Team.

Congratulations to the following 2025 recipients who will also spend the summer working at Nelson Mullins:

  • Samantha Morales, University of Miami School of Law (Miami office)
  • Rose M. Nguyen, Emory School of Law (Atlanta office)
  • Greenlee C. Rigby, University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law (Columbia office)
