ORLANDO – Terry Costolo has joined the Affordable Housing Team as of counsel in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Orlando office. He previously served as supervising attorney for the Florida Community Development Legal Project.
Costolo has extensive experience in real estate acquisition, development, and financing for residential and commercial projects. In particular, he has served as lead developer’s counsel for many multi-family housing projects financed through Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs). His involvement and counsel includes site control and real estate acquisition representation to fulfill developer financing program requirements and deadlines. Costolo’s experience includes resolution of complex title and survey issues on multi-state transactions. He has also represented nonprofit organizations in formation, governance, and affordable housing development.’
