Nelson Mullins Atlanta partner Scott Sherman has been selected to join the Board of Directors for Orbit Theatrical Inc., the sister organization of Orbit Arts Academy.

Orbit Arts Academy is a community organization providing programming for performers young and old in the Atlanta area. Its programs include theatre arts education, film and television training, community outreach programs, performance opportunities, and musical productions. Orbit Theatrical supports the academy by raising funds for scholarships, underwriting performances and masterclasses, growing a network of artists, and ensuring appropriate resources are available to students.

Scott focuses his practice in complex business and securities litigation, representing public companies, directors, and officers in securities class actions and derivative lawsuits. He also represents special litigation committees as well as companies and individuals involved in SEC and FINRA.
