Partner Mark Phillips Elected Regent of American College of Trial Lawyers

The American College of Trial Lawyers has elected Nelson Mullins partner G. Mark Phillips as a Regent to represent Region 10, which includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Based in Charleston, Phillips is a trial attorney whose litigation practice focuses on product liability cases. He is a first-chair trial lawyer who has tried personal injury cases to verdict in 11 states and has participated in trials in nine other states.

The American College of Trial Lawyers is composed of preeminent members of the Trial Bar from the United States and Canada and is recognized as the leading trial lawyers organization in both countries. Fellowship is extended only by invitation, after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality, according to the organization.
