GREENVILLE, S.C. — Elizabeth Donaldson, a partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough’s Greenville office, was recently named as an honoree on the 2024 Women of Influence list by the GSA Business Report. Donaldson is one of 40 others who were honored on this year’s list.

The GSA Women of Influence recognition program celebrates the accomplishments of Upstate businesswomen who are reaching inspiring heights in their careers and providing inspirational examples by giving back to the community.

Donaldson advises a variety of entities with regulatory and compliance matters related to the consumer finance industry, including state and federal consumer protection laws, regulation and licensing, anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act compliance, and traditional and non-traditional lending.

She has previously assisted clients throughout the lifecycle of product development as they strive to offer new and innovative products and services through both traditional and online channels. As another part of her practice, Donaldson regularly works with banks, mortgage companies, consumer lenders, payments companies, auto lenders, and FinTech companies to develop compliance policies and procedures, review compliance with state and federal laws, and draft key contracts.
