Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP represented Mandae Technologies, a Brazilian logistics platform for e-commerce small and medium businesses, in its sale to Nuvemshop, one of Latin America’s largest multinational e-commerce platforms. The deal value was not disclosed. The Nelson Mullins team has represented Mandae since its inception and has advised Mandae in multiple financing rounds. Mandae’s investors included IFC, Qualcomm, Monashees, Fundo Performa, and UPS.
The partnership between Mandae and Nuvemshop will provide Nuvemshop’s merchants with a competitive logistics solution with lower shipping prices, faster shipping times, and higher on-time delivery rates and will help Nuvemshop sell more and improve their own customer experience. This acquisition helps strengthen Nuvemshop's value proposition to its more than 90,000 online retailers of all sizes across Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico.
The Nelson Mullins team representing Mandae Technologies in the transaction was led by Miami partner Jackson Hwu, with additional support from partner Caio Prado and associate Gabriel Castillo.
