A multidisciplinary practice team led by Woojin Shin successfully represented SK Innovation Co., Ltd., in its $1.7 billion investment to open and run a factory that will manufacture batteries for electric vehicles. The plant is expected to bring 2,000 jobs to Jackson County, Ga., and is forecasted to reach its full jobs potential by 2025. Executives plan on hiring engineers, quality control experts, assembly workers, and corporate staff who will build lithium-ion batteries for an expanding market of electric cars.
