Law360 has named Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in its top 50 law firms in its inaugural Pulse Leaderboard, which ranks the top 100 firms for a combination of the work they do, the reputation they cultivate, and the commitment they demonstrate to being a socially responsible law firm, according to the legal media organization.
The rankings focus on law firms that have a large footprint in high-profile litigation and transaction work. The organization noted that Nelson Mullins’ litigation teams have appeared in 48 states, D.C., and one territory in 80 of the 90 federal district courts over the past three years.
Supported by data from LexisNexis companies Intelligize and Lex Machina, the analysis is designed to measure the relative performance of law firms against their peers. Firms must have been previously listed in Law360’s Pulse Social Impact Leaders or Pulse Prestige Leaders. Nelson Mullins appeared in the organization’s Prestige Leader list in December, which looks at indicators of reputation and prestige: financial health, attractiveness to young attorneys, the awards won for the depth and breadth of their legal work, and positive media representation. Nelson Mullins appeared in the top 70 of that list.
Law360 said it spent a year analyzing data to develop its inaugural lists. Click here for the full methodology.
